Build your MLM online. Before I get started on why this is essential, I want to say, upfront, I believe the network marketing business model represents the American enterprise system at its best.

With multi-level marketing, you can you go into business for yourself with a small upfront investment. You get an exclusive product or service that is usually of very high quality. Plus you get all the elements of a traditional business without the burden of employees or the expense of overhead, including: customer service; accounting; a warehouse; a shipping department; an e-commerce enabled website; marketing materials; and training designed to help you succeed. It's like purchasing a "business in a box."

That said, traditional offline methods of building an MLM business, taught by 99% of all network marketing trainers, are failing the vast majority of distributors.

We've all heard that network marketing is a numbers game. Well, here are some numbers for you to consider. Most people enroll 2 to 3 people into their downline before they throw in the towel; most will give up within their first 3 months; within a year, 97% of all distributors will stop working,! Those are pretty disturbing figures.

(Note: These numbers are for the network marketing industry overall and are not representative of any one specific company. Your company's numbers may be better or worse than the industry overall.)

Just imagine for a moment that you are that 1/10,000, rock star recruiter who personally sponsors 100 people into your business your first year. Guess what? If the industry statistics hold true, 97% of your business will quit within their first 12 months! That means, after a year, you'll have 3 who are still building in your organization!

That's what offline network marketing has to offer. It's what I call the 'duplicatable system of failure.'

You see, to succeed in multi-level marketing you must be able to accomplish a few things.

1) You need cash flow. You need to be able to monitize the 95% who will say "No" to your primary business opportunity.

2) You need to be able to attract MASSIVE numbers into your organization. You just can't grow your business quick enough using traditional offline marketing methods. You need to be able to go beyond your warm market.

3) You need to attract a higher quality of entrepreneur into your business. If you have few prospects you'll have very low standards and build a downline with the wrong people. When you have lots of leads you can be more choosey and hand pick the individuals you're going to work with.

Building your network marketing business online can attract more distributors into your downline quicker, increase your enrolling and sales productivity, lead to rapid growth of your business and increase downline retention rates throughout your organization. This creates a real system of duplicatable success, instead of just the illusion of one.
